How to make a Website URL QR code

Follow these steps, then test the downloaded QR code in the format and place where people will use it.
  1. Open the exact public page you want people to reach and copy its final HTTPS address.
  2. Paste the address into Qraffe and remove unnecessary tracking parameters where possible.
  3. Scan the downloaded code with a phone before printing it at its final size.
EXAMPLE DESTINATION

A practical example

https://example.com/menuA restaurant can print this code on a table card. The QR code stores this address directly, so the menu remains available while that address continues to work.

What to check first

  • A static URL QR code cannot be changed after printing. Use a destination you control and intend to keep.
  • The QR code can scan without internet but the linked page normally needs internet to load.
  • A clear label beside the code helps people know where a scan will take them.

Frequently asked questions

Use a direct address you control when possible. It is easier to explain to visitors and avoids adding another service that must remain available.
The image itself does not collect scan data. The destination website may collect data under its own settings and privacy policy.
A QR code is only ready after a real scan test. Test it at the intended size, on more than one phone when possible and with the destination available to the public.
