    What is a Email QR code?

    An email QR code uses a mailto address. It prepares an email in the scanner’s configured mail application; it does not send anything automatically.

    What happens after scanning?

    A compatible scanner opens the default email application with the encoded fields. The person scanning can review, edit or cancel the message before sending.
